I have always had a heart for missions and I love to hear the stories of God's work being done throughout the world. My involvement with Uganda started with sponsoring a child in Kyenjojo. I actually had the opportunity to visit Uganda and meet my sponsored child. What a privilege and joy to meet her face-to-face. Through the work of God's Care Ministries, she graduated from the University and now works as a nurse. I am so proud of her. Through covid, closures, and shut-downs, she trusted in God and persevered to fulfill her dreams. Her life was changed by knowing Jesus and being involved through the ministry of God's Care Church. I am thankful and blessed to be a part of her journey, and am able to stay in contact with her even today. I know God's work in Kyenjojo is not finished, and I am thrilled with the opportunity set before me to be used by God to build upon the work already begun by so many others with a heart for God.
