Abantu Together was established in 2019 by a group of very dedicated young professionals from the Pittsburgh PA area. Their desire was to help bolster people out of poverty by joining with God's Care Ministries in Kyenjojo Uganda, which has been in existence since 2007, rescuing vulnerable children and spreading the Good News of the LORD, Jesus Christ. Currently, Abantu Together and God's Care Ministries are Christian organizations that focus on transforming the society around them based on Biblical values.
The current board is very grateful to the original Abantu Together board for standing in the gap during the past four years. We are looking forward to continuing God's work with child sponsorship, education, medical care, agriculture, and spiritual development in this district of western Uganda.
